The VISA Everywhere Initiative is now open for applications from Kenyan startups. Qualifying startups have the chance to access resources and funding, as well as gain visibility with VISA’s global network and partners.

The VEI Kenya edition boasts a $40,000 USD prize pool. This will be shared among the different categories with the overall winner entitled to the biggest chunk at $20K, followed by $10K for the audience favorite and an extra slot of $10K for the Impact Prize. On July 6th, VEI will host an on-site competition in Kenya, with the winner going to play in the CEMEA finals held on July 27th, which will be broadcasted live on TechCrunch. The competition will be hosted at the TechCrunch Disrupt event on September 19th in San Francisco
